Did You Take Part in This Phone Poll For The Local Sales Tax Increase?

in Local News

A half cent sales tax increase would mean an increase of annual taxes around $31 for the “average” Loveland household.

In return, you would get improved traffic flow on East Eisenhower Boulevard and Taft Avenue, the rebuilding of one Loveland fire station and the remodeling of another, the construction of underpasses to improve public trail safety, construction of a new recreation center and new branch library, as well as expansion of the Loveland Museum.

We found it interesting that the city's newest residents (living here 5 years or less) were the strongest supporters of the initiative.
