CSU Master Gardeners Series

Free workshops and gardening tips from the CSU Master Gardeners at Loveland Public Library! 1-2pm in the Gertrude Scott Room. This is a 3 part series.

Sept 17:
Emerald Ash Borer and Japanese Beetle. Larimer County residents are facing an attack by two invasive bad bugs. This talk will cover what to look for, how and when to treat, and whether or not to treat at all.

Sept. 24: Planting Fall Bulbs & Fall Perennials
Susan Bonsall will discuss choosing, buying and prepping for specific bulbs and plants such as tulips, daffodils, iris, hyacinth, lilies and others.

Oct. 8: Noxious Weeds
Karen Crumbaker from the CSU Larimer County Extension Ag/Natural Resources Department, will help us learn about noxious weed issues; including various control methods, weed and grass identification, and the Colorado Noxious Weed Law. This class will focus mainly on small acreage and pasture management –NOT home gardens.
